Leisure activities and vaccination passport

Deux-Montagnes, August 31, 2021 – In order to be aligned with Public Health instructions, the City of Deux-Montagnes must require the vaccination passport (and a form of ID with photo) from citizens aged 13 and over wishing to participate in the leisure activities offered by the City. This measure, which will come into effect on September 1st, is in addition to other health measures already in place (wearing a mask, social distancing, etc.).

It should be noted that the vaccination passport is not required for children 12 years of age and under. However, it will be required for parents who participate in the activity with their child (for example, during a swimming lesson where the parent’s presence in the water is necessary).

Vaccination passport verification procedure

Citizens 13 years of age and over who register for an activity at the Leisure Department (200, rue Henri-Dunant) will be able to present their vaccination passport and their ID on site. As for citizens who register online, proof of vaccination containing a QR code showing their level of protection will be required during the first session of the activity. This evidence can be presented in three ways:

Following an online registration, participants may also present their vaccination passport to the Leisure Department, during office hours, before the start date of the activity.

Registration period

Remember that the registration period for the City’s leisure activities runs from August 31st to September 9th and that citizens must have a valid Carte loisirs.
