In January 2006, students from the McGill University School of Urban Planning, guided by Charles McDonald, a resident of Deux-Montagnes, made a proposal to City Council with regard to conducting an urban renewal study for the portion of the City located between Oka Road, the railroad tracks and Lake of Two-Mountains.

In February, these Masters students presented City Council and Deux-Montagnes Directors with two imaginary propositions, which have been added to this Web site for your information only. Please take note that the City Council has no intention to go on with any of the following propositions :
