SPECIAL COLLECTION: FREE PICK UP OF BROKEN BRANCHES FROM ICE STORM

Deux-Montagnes, April 11, 2023 – The ice storm of the past few days has caused many broken branches on residents’ properties. The City offers the collection of these free of charge by the Public Works Department throughout the week (April 11 to 14).

To obtain the service, the branches must be placed on the property, at the edge of the street and parallel to it (in the direction of road traffic). Branches must be no more than 8 feet long and must NOT be tied down. There is no need to call the public works department.

Note that after this special collection ending on April 14, the City offers the service of picking up tree branches on residents’ properties for a fee (https://www.ville.deux-montagnes. qc.ca/collections/).
