Norbert Vendette elected president of the Entraide de la sécurité incendie des Basses-Laurentides

Deux-Montagnes, February 24, 2021 – The City of Deux-Montagnes wishes to underline the involvement of its director of the Deux-Montagnes / Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac intermunicipal fire department, Mr. Norbert Vendette, within of the Entraide de la sécurité incendie des Basses-Laurentides. Since the beginning of the year, he has served as president of the organization, succeeding Mr. Charles de Rouville.

L’Entraide de la sécurité incendie des Basses-Laurentides  brings together the fire safety services of the following eight cities: Deux-Montagnes / Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, Saint-Eustache, Boisbriand, Sainte-Thérèse, Blainville, Sainte- Anne-des-Plaines, Mirabel and Saint-Jérôme.

Through this merger, the various Fire Safety Services in the region benefit from each other’s expertise and specialization regarding operations, prevention, training, research and any other aspect that can make organizations grow.
