National day of remembrance for victims of COVID‑19

Deux-Montagnes, March 11, 2021 – Today, March 11, 2021, is a National day of remembrance for victims of COVID‑19. To honour those we lost, the City of Deux-Montagnes puts its flags at Town Hall to half mast.

“ Today, we are all invited to take some time out and to pay tribute to the many victims of the COVID-19, as well as to their family and loved ones. On my behalf and on behalf of the members of the municipal council, I offer them my deepest condolences. Our thoughts are also with the health care workers, who are on the front lines to fight against the virus,” said the mayor of Deux-Montagnes, Denis Martin.

At 1:00 p.m., the entire population of Québec will be asked to observe a minute of silence.
