At their meeting on May 16 in Gatineau, on the eve of the Assises 2018, the members of the Board of Directors of the Union of Quebec Municipalities (UMQ) made several appointments. The elected representatives also appointed Mr. Denis Martin, Mayor of Deux-Montagnes, Chair of the Economic Development Commission of the UMQ. As part of his duties, Mayor Denis Martin will ensure, among other things, that he represents the economic development interests of Quebec municipalities to governments and offers a growing range of commercial services and privileges.
