The City provide $69,575 in grants to accredited community organizations

Deux-Montagnes, December 4, 2019 – The annual grant ceremony to the City’s accredited organizations was held Monday evening, December 2, in Deux-Montagnes City Hall. The 38 community organizations present at the event will share a total financial contribution of $69,575.

’We believe it is essential to offer our local organizations financial assistance to enable them to carry out their mission. Their work is fundamental. They contribute directly to improving the living conditions of the Deux-Montagnais in various ways. By supporting people in need, mentoring our young athletes, comforting our elders, etc. Through their dedication, they also reflect the City’s dynamism,” said Denis Martin, Mayor of Deux-Montagnes.

The Mayor Denis Martin was accompanied by the City Councillors, who also congratulated the involvement of local community stakeholders. With one voice, they thanked them warmly for their commitment to the community and for the dynamism they bring to the City of Deux-Montagnes.
