Sale of vacant land

Deux-Montagnes, November 5, 2020 – The City of Deux-Montagnes is soliciting bids for the sale of five (5) vacant lands located in the Grand-Moulin station area.

These lands are more precisely located at:

  • 5, 10e Avenue (lot 1 605 333)
  • 33, 11e Avenue (lot 2 338 665)
  • 36, 12e Avenue (lot 1 605 308)
  • 75, 12e Avenue (lot 1 605 411)
  • 1607, rue Lakebreeze (lot 1 973 683)

These are lands that were flooded in the spring of 2017, during the spring flood of lac des Deux-Montagnes. They are currently located in a flood zone, which allows the construction of housing, while respecting the rules of immunization.

Remember that the City of Deux-Montagnes built a permanent dike in 2019 and that this sector is now protected against future flooding.

The call for proposals documents are available at a cost of $ 25, payable by debit card only, at the Town clerk’s office at the address mentioned below.

Offers to purchase, in sealed envelopes, will be received until 11 a.m., Quebec legal time, Thursday, November 19, 2020, for the attention of Me Jacques Robichaud, city clerk, at the following address:

City of Deux-Montagnes

803, chemin d’Oka

Deux-Montagnes (Quebec)  J7R 1L8

The opening of the bids will be public on November 19, 2020, at or after 11 a.m., legal time, in the city council chamber.
