MUNICIPAL ELECTION – REVISION OF THE MUNICIPAL LIST OF ELECTORS

To consult the list of electors and to make an application
for entry, striking or correction, you must go before the board of revisors at the following address (803 chemin d’Oka) on the days and at the times indicated here:

2017-10-17 from 14:30 to 17:30 and from 19:00 to 22:00

2017-10-18 from 14:30 to 17:30

2017-10-19 from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to 17:30

For an application for entry (domiciled person only),the applicant must indicate the previous address of the domicile of the person whose entry is requested and present two documents, one of which indicates the name and date of birth and the other, the name and the address of the domicile of the person whose entry is requested.

A Message from the Deux-Montagnes Returning Officer

The municipal elections on November 5 will be a major event in democratic life in Deux-Montagnes. Voters will be invited at that time to have their say on how they want their next municipal council to be composed.

Here are the key dates to remember and resources available for information about the election and how it works.

DATES TO REMEMBER

  • September 22, 2017: Start of the election period
  • September 22 to October 6, at 4:30 pm: Period for filing nomination papers
  • October 17, October 18, and October 19: Revision of the list of electors (unless otherwise announced by public notice)
  • October 29: Advance poll vote
  • November 5: Election day

We’re looking for people to be part of the electoral staff for the advance poll on October 27 and for election day on November 5. If you’re interested, please email the Office of the Returning Officer at election2017@ville.deux-montagnes.qc.ca.
