Deux-Montagnes, April 15, 2021 – Deux-Montagnes will be holding its 16th Annual Horticulture Day next month and, to the delight of all the city’s horticulture lovers, free home delivery service will be provided again this year. In keeping with ongoing health directives prohibiting public gatherings, the original in-person distribution of some 2000 plants (herbs and annual flower boxes) scheduled for Saturday, May 22 at the municipal garage will now be done by home delivery to the first 2000 Deux-Montagnes residents registering online from May 3 to May 9.

The first 2000 residents registering online for Horticulture Day will each receive two free herb plants and one selection of annual flowers. These will be delivered to their homes in a way that respects all safety measures. This city initiative is organized to encourage residents to maintain their flowerbeds and gardens in top shape to help keep Deux-Montagnes beautiful all summer long.

Our hope is that by delivering free plants again this year, we’ll add a little extra colour to everyone’s lives and that, coupled with a healthy dose of springtime sunshine, will drive the blues away,” said Deux-Montagnes Mayor Denis Martin.
