Winter Carnaval at Olympia park – January 30th

Let’s Go Out and Play at the Winter Carnival in Deux-Montagnes!

The Lions Club annually organizes the traditional Deux-Montagnes Carnival: a much anticipated event for young and old alike. What better time to move around, and gather together with neighbors or family to enjoy winter activities.

Young and old will not want to miss this event that will take place on January 30th from 11 am to 4 pm at the Olympia Park.

All activities are free and there will be sleigh rides, a broomball tournament, skating, slides and smiles. The Lions will serve free hot beverages, tasty soup, hot dogs and its famous Chili that will keep you warm during these winter activities. Maple taffy on snow will also be available for all to enjoy. Appreciate a beautiful day outdoor in Deux-Montagnes and in good company!

Again this year, there will be a spaghetti supper fundraiser held at 6 pm, Veterans Hall, 141 Grand-Moulin in Deux-Montagnes.  Tickets will be available at the door for only $12.  The funds raised during this event will be donated to “Place William” intellectual challenged activity center for autistic young adult. We invite you to end this carnival day activities with us at the Veterans Hall!

Madame Linda Hogue, Lions Club President, has invited City Council members and Deux-Montagnes citizens to join in on the many carnival activities that have been planned for this occasion. “We are confident that the public will once again respond in great number for all of the programmed activities. We offer diverse activities that everyone will enjoy” stated Linda Hogue.

“I salute the remarkable dedication of Lions Club volunteers. Their undeniable involvement with noble causes is worthy of our support and appreciation. Carnival Day is a long-awaited annual activity, and we are very pleased to see this tradition continuing here in Deux-Montagnes in high spirits and exhilaration. Congratulations to the Lions and we are looking forward to seeing you on January 30th” declared Mayor Denis Martin.
