TOD Grand-Moulin Area: Upcoming Dates for Public Consultations

Deux-Montagnes, May 8, 2019 –Notice to residents in the Grand-Moulin area: The public participation process for the redevelopment of the Grand-Moulin TOD area continues and will take place in two stages instead of one. All concerned residents are invited to participate in the two new complementary sessions on May 23 and June 4 , at 7 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall.

The additional session in June is in response to the City’s commitment to taking the time required to build a constructive dialogue on the densification and redevelopment of the area around the future Réseau express métropolitain (REM) station. In this way, Deux-Montagnes will continue to follow the vision set out in the Special Urban Planning Program (PPU) for Chemin d’Oka and the Gare Grand-Moulin.

More detailed information will be provided in the coming days on the agenda for the two separate meetings.

As with previous meetings, residents are encouraged to register in advance to ensure proper planning for the required materials and to help in the preparation of the working tables.

This participatory process is being carried out with the support of the “Vivre en Ville” organization and concerns the redevelopment of the TOD area around the Gare Grand-Moulin, a redevelopment aimed at promoting greater residential density in the vicinity of this public transit service point.

You’ll find the reports on the two past activities in the “Public Consultations” section of our website under “Reports.”
