On the occasion of Volunteer Week, takes place from April 12th  to 19th, 2015,  I would like to express City Council’s sincere gratitude to all our Deux-Montagnes volunteers who contribute their skills and availability to serve their fellow citizens.

City Council is very proud to have a strong group of committed citizens. This commitment needs to be recognized and supported. It’s also the reason why we have agreed again this year to distribute nearly $100,000 in grants to community-based organizations within the territory of the City of Deux-Montagnes.

We acknowledge the unwavering commitment of Deux-Montagnes volunteers to their community, and we believe that this one of our greatest assets. Volunteers work with the community in a multitude of ways: by responding to people in need, by coaching our athletes, and by offering comfort to our seniors. Our invaluable volunteers are the cement of our social solidarity and perfectly symbolize the vitality of our city.
