Please note that Hydro-Québec has revised its rates downwards for all who want to opting-out their next-generation meters.

Customers who already have a new-generation meter or received an installation notice before October, 3th, 2014,  may choose the option to opting-out the new-generation meter and pay the fee of $ 15. Customers must apply by January 3, 2015 , after this date, the $ 85 fee will apply.
