DISPOSAL OF DRY MATERIALS

The dry materials dump is located at the Territory Management Department, 625, 20e Avenue. It is only accessible to Deux-Montagnes citizens. Proof of residency is required.

Opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 8a.m. to 11:30a.m.and from 1p.m. to 4:30p.m., Friday from 8a.m. to 11:30a.m., and the 1st Saturday of the month from 9:15a.m.to 3p.m. (only from April to November).

Dry materials can be left at the dump for a fee of $35 for a 4 X 8 X 2.5 feet high trailer. Calculate an additional $15 fee per extra cubic yard. These fees are based on existing regulations.

Accepted materials: Construction or demolition scrap (e.g.: wood, shingles, etc.), household waste (e.g.: furniture) and metal.

Refused material: Earth, stone, concrete and asphalt

DISPOSAL OF VARIOUS ITEMS FREE OF CHARGE

The dump is located at the Territory Management Department located at 625, 20e Avenue. We accept the following items free of charge:

  • branches
  • tires  (without rim)
  • folded cardboard boxes
  • used batteries (non-rechargeable carbon-zinc, alkaline, lithium, zinc air, and silver oxide batteries, and rechargeable nickel-cadmium, nickel-metal hydride, and lithium-ion batteries)

The dump is only accessible to Deux-Montagnes citizens. Proof of residency is required.

DISPOSAL OF HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE (HHW)

The disposal of household hazardous waste (HHW) is done, free of charge, on the 1st Saturday of the month from 9a.m. to 3p.m. (April to November). It is important to return waste in its properly identified original container.

Accepted materials: cleaning products, paints, primers, paint removers, thinners, pesticides, glues, batteries, antifreeze, motor oil, windshield washer fluid, propane tanks, paint strippers, wood preservatives, waxes, smoke detectors, lubricants, and pool maintenance products.

The dump is only accessible to Deux-Montagnes citizens. Proof of residency is required.
