INFOSTOP : A new prevention tool for seniors

Deux-Montagnes, Monday, April 1st , 2019  – From April 8 to 12, the City of Deux-Montagnes will proudly distribute 1,000 INFOSTOP kits to its senior population, as well as to people with loss of independence, in supports to the Seniors Help Program of the Centre d’action bénévole Les Artisans de l’Aide.

INFOSTOP is a program designed to make it easy for first responders to access crucial information about the general state of health of the unconscious person.

The kit includes:

• a small bottle of plastic

• an information sheet on the person (to put in the bottle)

• a magnet identified INFOSTOP to be affixed to the refrigerator door to indicate the presence of the plastic bottle

  • Deux-Montagnes Library (200, Henri-Dunant Street) 

OPENING HOURS UNTIL MAY 31 :

Monday and Tuesday : 1 pm to 8 pm

Wednesday : 10 am to 8 pm

Thursday and Friday : 1 pm to 8 pm

Saturday : 10 am to 4:30 pm

Sunday : 1 pm to 4:30 pm ·
