Covid-19: Deux-Montagnes closes its play modules and cancels its spring recreational activities

Deux-Montagnes, March 23, 2020 – In response to the Quebec government’s decision to ban all indoor and outdoor gatherings, the City of Deux-Montagnes is closing its modules and playgrounds in all its parks for an indefinite period.

Access to the parks remains permitted to citizens, who are asked to follow the government’s directive to respect a distance of 2 metres between people.

Recreational and leisure activities for the spring session are cancelled

Also following the government’s decision to keep schools and daycares closed until May 1, the City of Deux-Montagnes is cancelling the Spring recreational activities, which were scheduled to begin on March 29.

Those who registered for the various activities will be contacted to find out how they can be reimbursed. For any questions, citizens are invited to contact the Service des loisirs at 450 473-2796, option 4.

In close contact with government authorities, the City of Deux-Montagnes is following the evolution of the pandemic and adapting to the situation on a daily basis by following the recommendations of Public Health.
